Many new owners ask what they should buy for the new puppy. Here is a list of tried and true products we like. We have tried these products on our dogs over the years and they work the best.

Food: We feed Life's Abundance for dogs and puppies. (click here to order) . We will give you some puppy food when you pick up your puppy. This is a great product and I find that all my dogs and puppies love it. It is made in the US and made by a Vet. You don't have to worry about bad ingredients or recalls on this food.

Puppy Primer is a good book to have for training your puppy and interacting with your family (especially the kids). It has lots of good information and I agree with what they say. by Brenda K Scidmore (Author), Patricia McConnell

Bowls for water and food that can be cleaned easily.

Avoid beds, toys, pillows or anything with stuffing inside. They can chew holes into the bed or pillow and pull all the stuffing out. They can choke on this and also make a big mess for you to find! (SURPRISE MOM, LOOK WHAT I DID)

As for raw hide, I have had many vets tell me that they have had to do so much surgery to get this out of the intestines. I just don't give any. They can chew on Nyla or Booda bones instead or the Everlasting Treat Ball. The main issue with puppies is that they are teething and need to chew. Kong toys are also very good.

We will also go over all of this when you pick up your pup. If you think of any questions just jot them down and bring the list with you or e mail me. I try to stay up on all the new products.
